This is a series of five digitally composed photographs. By placing exotic animals in the centre of the huge, modern city, I wanted to create a sense of contrast and stimulate the imagination, as well as hinting at environmental issues. The creatures are total "strangers" in the scene and to me the images have a dreamlike, nostalgic quality to them. The awkward visitors seem lost and displaced in the middle of a concrete-jungle.
